White Heather donates food to the Homeless at the Forge in Scunthorpe every week with unwanted food left from the weekends function and events. White Heather also plays an important role in providing approx 50 homeless people a Christmas Day meal every christmas for the past few years and is continuing to do so this year. This important work is undertaken with the help of Glanford and Lindsey Lions Clubs Dennis Cator of which Jonathan and Dennis are members.

Royal Wedding [2011-08-23]
As the eyes of the world begin to focus on the Royal Wedding, a North Lincolnshire couple are preparing for their own big day.
Amy Platts and John McKenzie are set to get married on Friday, the same day as Prince William's wedding to Kate Middleton.
"I think it's great they're getting married on the same day as it's another way to remember the day by."
John and Amy will get married at Scawby Church, before a reception at the White Heather near Market Rasen.
Bride-to-be Amy also said preparations for the day had gone well.
